An AOC, the Macvin du Jura is a “vin de liqueur” made by blending freshly pressed juice of Chardonnay grapes, and our “Marc du Jura égrappé”. Its colour shows a deep, intense amber with aromas of jammy fruits, pears and mirabelles, as well spicy notes. It is bottled after 15 months of ageing.

Macvin du Jura is most frequently served as an aperitif, and in summer it is superb with ripe melon.
For pudding lovers, try Macvin with a chocolate tart, a walnut cake, or with vanilla and butterscotch ice cream plus some raisins soaked in Macvin for a couple of hours.
Reduced over a low heat, it will be superb with Foie Gras.
